The Birth of a Writer
Born in the ancient city of Umuahia, South-Eastern Nigeria, Bulututu Ozuah has travelled far from his roots to establish himself as a dynamic voice in the literary world. Now 48 years old, he spent his formative years in Nigeria, where he cultivated a strong foundation in education, earning a degree in Business Studies/Administration from Lagos City Polytechnic in Ikeja, Lagos
The spark for writing ignited during Bulututu’s elementary school years when he turned to stories as a way to cope with the bullying he faced due to a speech deformity. Writing became his refuge and his voice, a means of expressing his thoughts and imagination when spoken words failed him. Even at a young age, his talent was evident, impressing his teachers with the vividness of his imaginary worlds.
Harrogate – Yorkshire UK
In search of new opportunities, he migrated to Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England, with his family, where he continues to reside today. The decision to move was driven by the desire for greener pastures, a value instilled in him by his parents, who taught him the importance of hard work and determination. Their guidance impressed upon him the need to keep striving, even when faced with the disappointments that life can bring.

Family
Coming from a large family, with one older sibling and six younger ones, Bulututu learned early on the importance of perseverance and resilience. These traits have been crucial in his journey as a writer, a career path that he has passionately pursued as a novelist, freelance journalist, poet, and playwright.
Believe In The Future
Married and a father of one, he balances his professional life with personal interests, which include cooking, running, and reading. He finds creativity in the kitchen, health in early morning runs, and inspiration in the books he reads, all of which contribute to his craft as a writer.
Bulututu’s family stands firmly behind his literary pursuits, seeing his writing as the voice that transcends his physical challenges. They believe in his work, confident that it will one day resonate with a global audience.
