Synopsis
“The Legend of Bernard Banks” tells the story of the ugly side of global politics. It laid more emphasis on the power tussle between the two most powerful nations on Earth (the USA and Russia). It also brought to the front burner the issue of terrorism and its links to some external forces that control the affairs of the world. Bernard Banks is the protagonist of this story. He was born with a silver spoon, but he was compelled to live his entire life on the edge. His father Roland Banks died barely 24 hours after he was born.
Roland Banks was a filthy rich British-American citizen who mingled with the high and mighty, he had to be sacrificed because he broke the golden code of “The gods of Olympus” (the most powerful clique in the world). Billy Gunn was the fiercest antagonist of the story. He was a law professor and the former governor of Michigan. He sold his soul to the devil and changed his name to Omar Malik, the feared leader of a notorious terrorist network called “The Vultures”. This metamorphosis turned him into a beast of no mercy. Mayhem and destruction were in his veins.
In the end, Bernard Banks succeeded in sending Omar Malik to the afterlife, but he lost his own life in the process of this heroic deed. This was the price he had to pay just to make America a safe haven.
